It’s in the detail
With digital print, you can add complex, detailed logos, full colour images and photographs plus gradient colours to a selection of products. Our state-of-the-art digital printers make previously-impossible print jobs possible – and they look amazing!
What is Full Colour Digital Printing?
In its broadest sense, full colour digital printing enables photo-realistic images to be printed directly onto the surface of a product without the use of transfers or sublimation processes. A highly detailed Brand Logo or Corporate Identity can be applied to a range of substrates and products, which then deliver a truly integrated campaign message to your target audience. Full Colour Digital Printing is also referred to as 4 Colour Digital Printing Process or CMYK – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black being the four ink colours used in the process.
Colour
Developments in CMYK Ink Jet technology revolutionised full colour printing utilising a UV curing process and UV Inks to deliver an output that far exceeds that of the CMYK Plate System. CMYK Ink Jet technology is so accurate, it can place a single droplet of ink, point 1 of a millimetre, directly on top of another; this is how millions of shades of colour can be achieved in one print. Full colour digital technology utilises UV light to cure the print during the process, there is no need to use an over laminate or allow for drying time.
Promotional Merchandise
If your business or organisation uses promotional merchandise, business gifts or signage, then full colour digital printing is highly relevant. Not only can it deliver cost benefit, but most importantly complex logos identities or campaign messages are not compromised and photo realistic images can now be employed throughout your campaign.
Print Quality
The printing of Photo-realistic images is another major advantage of digital printing. White base can be printed first and then the design with exact precision in one single pass. Therefore allowing the designer to utilize their full potential, and create outstanding designs onto various coloured products, without the restrictions associated with conventional print processes.
Consistency
Another advantage with digital UV printing, is the ability to reproduce not only the same image time after time regardless of quantity, but because the print head does not make contact with the product. You are able to print on very uneven textured or patterned materials such as wood, folders, and indents and recesses.
Full Colour Digital UV Printing opens the way to vibrant images onto a vast range of product with no restriction to material colour or texture.
